Last night, our CEO Graeme Thomson was proud to represent Ferguson Marine and Clyde built skills at the Maritime and Shipbuilding Cross Party Group (CPG) at the Scottish Parliament.
It was an important opportunity to discuss the key challenges and opportunities we face with policymakers and key industry representatives who all agree upon the importance of maintaining commercial maritime capability in Scotland and the need to support the wider supply chain.
With 150 naval and non-naval vessels in the UK shipbuilding pipeline in the next 30 years, we need cross industry collaboration to make sure we can unlock these, and wider commercial opportunities, for shipyards in the UK.
With thanks to Paul Sweeney and the cluster for the invitation, we look forward to engaging in future meetings of the CPG.
