Yesterday, we celebrated our amazing apprentices who’ve completed their training and are now ready to take the next step in their shipbuilding careers.

It’s been great to watch their skills and confidence grow, and to see so many following in their family’s footsteps, continuing a craft that means so much to our community and industry.

Frances Rice, Apprentice Coordinator at Ferguson Marine, said: "Investing in young talent has always been our focus. Through our apprenticeship programme, we're not just giving them the opportunity for hands-on experience but also helping to carry forward the great tradition of shipbuilding in Inverclyde."
